Give one spray and obtain emergency medical help. Use a new device for each repeat dose; repeat at 2–3-minute intervals if needed while supporting breathing and monitoring.
Contraindications & important cautions #
Recurrent respiratory depression may outlast naloxone. Acute withdrawal can occur; response does not establish lasting safety.
Selected important cautions; consult the full product information for all contraindications and warnings.
Adverse effects #
Acute withdrawal and recurrence of respiratory depression.
Interactions #
Long-acting or potent opioids may require repeated reversal and prolonged monitoring.
Monitoring #
Continuously assess breathing, consciousness and need for emergency support.
Special populations #
Emergency care and observation remain necessary in all populations. Do not extrapolate this device dose to injectable formulations.
Adult scope. Pregnancy, breastfeeding and pediatric use require the exact product’s population-specific guidance and individual assessment.
Discontinuation, restarting & counseling #
Do not leave the person alone after response. Arrange continuing overdose prevention and treatment linkage.
